Trevor and Manoli Allan (Spain, DPG Day 15)
Thank God that work permits have been approved for the house and property in Ribadeo.  Pray for them as they work with the builder and architect on the next steps.  Pray that enough progress will be made on The Albergue (Pilgrims Hostel) on the Camino Way, to make it possible to hold youth camps there in summer.

Stephen and Lorraine Cavill (QLD, DPG Day 8)
Praise God for good rain that has fallen and pray that the drought would be broken for all.
Continue to pray for safety on roads and in the air and that the Cessna service will happen soon. Continue to pray for J and G that the Holy Spirit will break through. Pray for wisdom in conversations, in the distribution of drought funds and in the planning of school visits for the term.
Pray for the CWCI Safari (April 19-May 2): for the meetings planned and the women who will attend.  Pray for those organising the Boulia Convention (May 1-4) – and that many will come to know God as Saviour.

Gordon and Ruth Harriott (Restricted, DPG Day 24)
Please pray about the urgent need for teachers at Promise International School, especially in maths.  Pray too for Gordon and Ruth’s plans to return in a few months for the school graduation.

John and Kathy Harris (Netherlands, DPG Day 14)
Pray for John as he leads 2 workshops at the Pastoral Care conference in Spain, March 15-20. Also pray for John, the other iTeam Australian missionaries and the office team, as we all work to deal with the closing of the mission.

Leonie Johannesen (Fiji, DPG Day 15)
Thank God for visitors who have been there to help (and to be with Leonie as she grieves the passing of her grandfather).  Continue to pray for a positive response to Grace’s visa application.  Praise God that Grace is progressing well with sign language.  Pray for Ima (16) who has left to attend a vocational school and for the rest of the children as they miss her.

Phil and Sandy Jones (Mexico, DPG Day 5)
Praise God that Phil was able to preach the Gospel at a refuge for street-people recently– pray for follow-up conversations. Pray for him as he preaches more regularly at Horizonte and teaches in the Bible seminary.
A house they rent on Airbnb was robbed by the last people who stayed there. Pray for the police and insurance processes, and that God will show his grace, provision and continuing peace.   Thank God that Sandy is finding some relief from pain in physical therapy provided by the social security system. Pray for continued good news from recent test results.  Continue to pray for the mediation process for the electricity fine at the cafe.

Kara McLaughlin (South Africa, DPG Day 2)
Thank God for the way the Spirit moved people to repentance at the Church Mobilisation conference.  Pray that the pastors will return to their churches to with renewed understanding of the church’s role in sharing the Gospel and in caring for the poor.  This was followed by a 2-day Bible school for the service teams: thank God for an increased appreciation of who God is and how the work is His alone.

Gavin and Janet Petersen (Portugal, DPG Day 14)
Praise God for the second combined get-together for those who are currently involved in
Discovery Bible reading groups.  About half of the group are not professing believers (including some from the English classes).  Pray for plans for another get-together on Easter Saturday  – both for preparation and  that God will prepare the hearts of those invited.
Continue to pray for the 4th Brethren Conference for Portuguese-speaking countries (Theme: The Work is Not Yet Completed) on July 22-26. The host country is São Tomé and Principe.
Praise God that Eliot has started full-time work in USA.  Pray for his transition and accommodation needs.  Josiah continues at Teen Challenge’s recovery program: please pray for him, and for Sam & Jen’s considerable involvement in their local church.
Please continue to pray for either the sale or rental of the property in Brazil.

Bill and Nicoletta Quinert (Italy, DPG Day 14)
Praise God for five young Christians (from Italy, India, Romania and Iran) who were baptized from our Church last week, openly declaring their faith in Christ and their determination to follow Jesus wholeheartedly. Thank God for the encouragement that this is for the whole church as they celebrate the testimonies shared.

David and Elly Sharp (Specialists, DPG Day 21)
Praise God that the container with the New Testaments has arrived at the SIL centre in Chad.  Pray as preparations are made for the dedication.

Tim and Anna Southcott (Timor-Leste, DPG Day 11)
Thank God for the time spent in Australia and for a good transition for Tim, Anna and the 3 children as they returned to the field.  Tim had a week of language learning soon after arrival before completing check flight with MAF’s Chief Pilot.  Pray for safety for Tim and the other pilots especially in wet weather – and for the emotional toll that medevac flights take.  Pray too that Tim will find time and opportunity to visit patients he has flown.
Thank God for the MOU with the government that will make travel needs much easier.  There are significant roles that are being advertised for the program: pray that they will be quickly filled by the right people.

Bryson and Ruth Thomas (QLD, DPG Day 12)
Pray for Bryson as he travels to Perth today (March 3) to share at a statewide Prison Chaplains Conference.  He is under a lot of pressure as the number of people requesting courses increases: ask that God will raise more workers.

Fiona Thomas (Cambodia, DPG Day 7)
Pray for this time of transition as good friends leave Cambodia.  Thank God for a very good Small Group Retreat and pray that everyone will find a group to belong to after the decision was made to divide into smaller groups across the city.  Pray for wisdom for the leadership at Hope International School as they plan for the protection of the school community in response to the threat of the coronavirus.  Pray for good time management and fresh motivation for Fiona as she juggles her various school and other ministry roles (including renewed Sunday School teaching).  Thank God for quick recovery from a recent illness.

Daniel and Candide Weekes (France, DPG Day 13)
A neighbour – Jean-Claude – has died after a 2-year illness.  He had been opposed to the camps, but in recent times, had become open to conversation about faith and had asked for prayer. Pray for his wife and family as they grieve and that there will be more opportunities to show them love.  Praise God for the winter camps (this week for 13-18 year olds): for deep relationships and questions. Praise God for the Bible study in town with the local Catholics – pray for salvation among those attending.  Pray that the remodelling permit will be granted quickly do work can begin on old buildings.  Praise God for the number of workers coming to help.  Praise God that summer camps are already filling and pray that Jack and his cousins will have a meaningful time there.  Give thanks that Jack and Henry are healthy and strong.

Continue to pray for the translation team she works with, and for her Hebrew studies.

Ian and Leann Buckley (Restricted, DPG Day 22)
Ian and Leann return to Australia this Wednesday 4 March. Pray for them as they reconnect with family, friends and churches here – and that the people and ministries they have left behind will continue to thrive.

Daniel and Emily (Restricted Access, DPG Day 22)
Praise God for a family wedding in Bali where there were good opportunities to share their faith through the service.  Pray that the seeds sown will be watered.

Colin and Marg (Restricted Access, DPG Day 23)
They returned on 2 March and will self-isolate on arrival.  Their institution will delay opening till then but an unsettled period lies ahead.  Please keep them in your thoughts – and be thankful with them for the extended family time here in Australia.

Luke and Dania (Restricted Access, DPG Day 24)
Pray for a good time of connecting with family, friends and churches in the next few months here in Australia before they return to their host country.

Corey and Amber (Restricted Access, DPG Day 25)
The family are immersed in language learning with 3 more weeks to go.  Thank God that they are already noticing the difference that this is making and pray that they will have confidence to implement their new learning when they return to their local community.  Thank God that they were near a hospital when Amber, Estasia and Jesiah contracted malaria in February: pray for continued protection.  Pray for new staff to join the team at Danja so the hospital can continue to serve well – and for the family as they say goodbye to friends whose work there is coming to an end.

Coronavirus: John and Karen Short and Bill and Nicoletta Quinert have written of the fear that many people are living in as the virus spread in their countries.  Please pray for peace.  Many of our missionaries live in countries that are vulnerable to the spread and treatment of the virus – please pray for protection.
