In Luke 2:52 we are told that Jesus grew “in wisdom, and in stature, and in favour with God and man.” What does this tell us about Jesus’ humanity and why is this important?
In what ways is Jesus seen as ‘powerful in word’ in the Gospels? Give some examples of the things Jesus said, how he said them, and how they were received. How do these demonstrate his power?

In what ways do the miracles of Jesus show his power?
Examples can be a powerful. Who comes to your mind as powerful examples of both good and bad? Why does anyone follow an example – Is it because it is good, or shows us what is possible, or guilts us, or inspires us, or something else? What examples did Jesus set for us and why should we follow them?
