Richard and Anne Hoyt (Chad, DPG Day 1)
Praise God that Anne was able to get the right medication to be sent from the US to treat the blood clots in her lungs. Pray that Anne will be back to full health soon. Pray for Rich as he continues to do many roles in different areas, both at work and at home. Praise God that Janet has been busy with the Acacia ladies as well as helping in the office. Pray for their colleagues, the Camp family, who are on home assignment and have had to clean up and repair their home after Hurricane Laura hit Louisiana last week. Pray for Chadian friends and co-workers who are fighting to keep their homes dry after recent heavy rains in N’Djamena. Flooding has left many homes destroyed and thousands of people displaced.

Bethany Kapezya (DR Congo, DPG Day 1)
A guarantee has been paid on a house that will serve as a school. Pray for the student cohort and for the work that needs to be done this week to prepare for it. Pray or Bethany in the spiritual battles that are being waged. In the Bunia area, where the twins are living, there has been significant rebel activity. It has settled down but there is still uncertainty. Pray for protection for the family.

Belinda and Herman Lamprecht (South Africa, DPG Day 2)
Praise God for the successful online ‘Love Africa’ event that reached many more people than ever before. Pray that people will put what they learnt into practice. Pray for Herman to be wise in decision-making in a number of leadership/strategic planning committees for OM Africa. Pray for God’s protection over the Lamprecht family as they navigate the less restrictive ‘new normal’ in South Africa.

Kara McLaughlin (South Africa, DPG Day 2)
Thank God for the trip last week into the Chigodole — it’s a community with much disunity and brokenness, but the visit was surrounded by peace. Pray that Jesus will bring His complete peace.

Byron and Lyn Johannesen (Colombia, DPG Day 4)
Pray for the safety of the 15 churches in Tulua which have re-opened as a trial. Pray for wisdom in deciding when other churches should re-open. Praise God that Alissa is recovering well after surgery. Pray for Byron as he has a (benign) lipoma removed from his back. Pray for Olmedo who has been left with post-COVID kidney damage and needs regular dialysis.

Edward and Ruth Smith (Venezuela, DPG Day 6)
Pray for Edward who had a fall last week and hurt his shoulder. His X-ray result will be known today. Pray that there will be no long-term damage and Edward will be better soon. Praise God that they can still provide food to Venezuelan believers. Praise God for those saved through hearing the gospel preached over loudspeakers.

Noela Elvery (Specialist, DPG Day 19) and Julie Loudon (Specialist, DPG Day 20)
Praise God that Acira and Berocan were able to make a short visit to Oicha. Pray for them as they make a second visit to Oicha to buy food and distribute to needy families in the Manzali/Oicha area, to check on sponsored children (who enrolled in Manzali schools) and their families, and to follow-up on radio programs and listeners’ responses. Pray for Acira’s health to continue to improve, and for him to get the medication he needs. Praise God for the re-opening of schools in Manzali and Shalom Uni in Bunia (where Way Alege teaches). Pray for the protection of teachers, students and Manzali medical staff from rebel activity as well as COVID-19 and Ebola. Pray for believers in NE DRC, that their faith will be strengthened and their fears replaced with hope in the Lord. Pray for wisdom and discernment for Noela and Julie as they wait on the Lord’s direction. Pray for the distribution of recordings, and outreach through radio and their website www.wordnworks.org.

Leigh and Tamara (Restricted Access, DPG Day 24)
Praise God for good health within the family, and praise God that no NGO staff have been seriously unwell with COVID-19. Pray that Leigh and Tamara will finish the year well, even as they prepare to return in early December for their last home assignment. Pray that they will have good opportunities of remembrance and to say farewell in the coming months. Pray for safe and timely means of returning to Australia. Pray for strength, perseverance and stamina during an uncertain transition.
