Alan and Isabel Knott (Colombia, DPG Day 4)
Praise God Alan and Isabel are recovering from COVID. Pray that they make a full recovery and Isabel can have her pancreatic biopsy soon.

Steve and Roslyn Baird (Philippines, DPG Day 9)
Pray for their visas which still haven’t come through. Pray for Melanie and Nathan and the imminent birth of their child. Pray that they can find accommodation near Mater Children’s Hospital. Pray for the medical team who will look after the baby for his heart condition.

Phil and Adele Thomas (QLD, DPG Day 10)
Praise God that Phil’s long operation went well. Pray for a quick and full recovery.

Farid and Parila Qurbanpur (Australia, DPG Day 15)
Pray for those Christians in Kabul who have been fired by companies trying to distance themselves from Christians because of the Taliban. Pray for protection of Christians under persecution.

Bill and Nicoletta Quinert (Italy, DPG Day 16)
Pray for Afghans who are coming to the Lord through TV and radio programs.
editPray for the safety of those who are persecuted in Afghanistan and trying to leave the country.

Trevor and Manoli Allan (Spain, DPG Day 17)
Praise God for enough funds for a van repair, a grass cutter for the large paddock, necessary materials to finish the bottom floor of the Albergue, and to pay the builder working on the outside walls. Pray that they can celebrate the opening of the bottom floor on 26 September. Pray that they will have enough funds to finish the building by 19 February 2022. Praise God the two teen and children’s camps were successful, and Rebeca was able to get her Director of Camps and Activities certificate (needed for children and youth ministry). Pray for Rebeca as she’s due in November. Pray for Joel who has had to replan his future as he’s stuck in Spain. Pray for Ana and Steve to be able to visit Spain next year, and pray that Trevor and Manoli can visit Australia too.

Noela Elvery (Specialist, DPG Day 22) & Julie Loudon (Specialist, DPG Day 25)
Praise God for the provision of a chainsaw to prepare timber for permanent Pygmy buildings. Praise God for the protection of schoolchildren, who have now finished their school year despite COVID restrictions; pray they stay safe during their summer break. Pray for the reopening of the road from Bunia to Oicha which closed due to burning of vehicles and killing. Acira and Berocan have stayed in Bunia since their daughter’s wedding on 28 August. Pray for Way Alege to be able to visit Manzali and establish a realistic strategy for the Manzali projects, including the registration of the Manzali schools with the Pygmy schools. Pray for teachers and workers in the Pygmy projects to experience a spiritual breakthrough as they interact with children and their parents. Pray for Gedeon, still in Sydney, as he does another online TAFE course and works on the flight simulator with the aim of converting his Commercial Airline Pilot licence to Australian requirements. Praise God that Jacque, Gedeon’s wife who has stomach cancer, feels better these days; pray she continues to improve with her diet and treatment and pray for good medical advice.  Pray for Noel and Julie to have wisdom in heeding the Lord’s directions, especially in allocating funds.

Tess (Restricted Access, DPG Day 29)
Praise God for two years in-country and for completing all language requirements of her company. Pray for Tess to get a two-year visa. Pray for her as she serves with two refugee ministries helping women and children. Pray for her as she continues to know more local people and understand the culture. Pray for God’s guidance as to where she should be longer term.

Carol Luttah (CBMPNG)
Praise God Lynn is COVID negative after two weeks in quarantine, with one week to go. Pray for a peaceful PNG Independence Celebration on 16 September.
