Belinda and Herman Lamprecht (South Africa, DPG Day 2)
Pray for Herman as he runs the IT department where he’s doing many tasks remotely, including the preparation for the online Love Africa conference. Pray for the Lord to help cover the ongoing costs of high internet charges. Praise God the children are growing well and staying healthy.

Byron and Lyn Johannesen (Colombia, DPG Day 4)
Pray for Colombia as the number of COVID-19 cases and deaths rise. Pray for brother Jaime whose furniture factory suffered a serious fire last week. Praise God the damage was contained to the paint and storage area and not the main production area. Pray that repairs can be completed soon.

Phil and Sandy Jones (Mexico, DPG Day 5)
Thank God that the whole family have kept well during quarantine, and that RenovArte café has been able to reopen its sit-down service. Pray for the team as they adjust to the easing of restrictions.  Sandy is still experiencing lingering back pain — they are planning for a gall bladder operation in the next few weeks. Pray that the op will go well and that she will be pain-free soon. Phil has been enjoying teaching the gospels online at the Bible Institute and is now taking on a more pastoral/discipling role at the local church. Josh continues to do well at school and Romy will soon celebrate her 18th birthday.

Jason and Kim Job (Timor-Leste, DPG Day 11)
Pray for Jason, Kim and Sam Job as they finish their term with MAF Timor-Leste this week. Pray for wisdom and guidance for them as they hand over roles and responsibilities to other staff members. Pray for the season of Sabbatical and rest that they are having before relocating to Mareeba, QLD; pray that they will be refreshed, renewed and ready to face this new season of ministry with MAF. Pray particularly for Sam as he is grieving the loss of Timor and his friendships there. Pray for the crate of the Job family’s belongings which is currently being shipped to Australia; pray this shipment will go smoothly with no problems with customs.

Pray for their MAF Timor-Leste local staff, Aldo, Imelda and Ameu, who are working hard to keep our planes flying while the international staff are rotating and changing fairly regularly. Pray for wisdom, self-confidence and creativity for each of them as they undertake new roles and responsibilities and help the international staff to understand the Timorese culture and procedures.

Daniel and Candide Weekes (France, DPG Day 13)
Praise God that they have a great team at camp this summer and that things are ready to go to welcome the campers. Pray that all the campers will have a very enjoyable time and that above all they will constantly be challenged and encouraged by the gospel! While they will be following the strict guidelines (distancing, masks, less people, increased cleaning), pray that no campers or staff will get sick or show any signs of the virus, as this would have detrimental effects on the rest of the campers and camps this summer.

Leonie Johannesen (Fiji, DPG Day 15)
Grace uses an ointment called Aquaphor which they get shipped from the US. Pray that they will get her next shipment before her current supply runs out. This ointment is her primary lifeline. She uses it 4-5 times a day and she goes through a tub every three days. She gets a free supply from the company every three months, but with the current world status postage is a real issue for us here. She has less than a month’s supply left.

Carolyne Luttah (CBM, PNG)
Pray for safety and protection. Insecurity is growing, they are constantly locking ourselves in because of gunshots between police and criminals. It’s become the norm in the past week. Some of their suppliers have shut their businesses so pray that new suppliers for their product range can be found. Pray for grace in the midst of discouragement. Continue to pray for a Finance and Administration Manager who can serve in a missionary capacity.
