Stephen and Lorraine Cavill (QLD, DPG Day 8)
Praise for the rain that has fallen around the Longreach area, butpray for those areas to the east and south that have received none. Pray for those who have had too much rain and are suffering stock losses.
Pray for wisdom as Stephen and Lorraine talk with people. Pray that people will not be bitter towardsGod, and that they will be receptive to Christians seeking to help.
Pray for the wise distribution of the drought/disaster funds.
Pray for Stephen and Lorraine in their travels, whether by plane or car.
Praise God that Stephen passed his medical and can now fly for another 2 years.
Praise for the safe arrival of their 8th grandchild– and for their 9th due soon!
David and Wendy Lee (PNG, DPG Day 17)
David and Wendy have arrived back in the PNG highlands. David will begin teaching again next Wednesday night. Please pray that interest will be renewed as people receive the next lessons.
Darren and Meredith Lydeamore (SA, DPG Day 13)
Darren has been discharged from hospital following the cycling accident, but he will be off work for at least a month followed by a gradual return to work. Continue to pray for pain management, for a full recovery and for the whole family at this difficult time.
Calvin and Shirley Oule (Uganda, DPG Day 3)
Shirley returns to full-time work at Watoto this week. Selah (now 4 months old) will be with her – please pray for both Shirley and Selah as this is a big adjustment. Pray too, that Calvin and Shirley will find the right balance of family and ministry.
Bruce Young (Spain, DPG Day 15)
Bruce has been diagnosed with mesothelioma. Pray that the chemotherapy he will begin soon will be effective. This news was very unexpected, so please pray for Bruce, his family and friends as they come to terms with it. Pray too for his disappointment at not being able to return to Spain.
Daniel and Emily (Restricted Access, DPG Day 23)
Pray that Emily will be called up for more relief teaching after having herfirst day last week. Pray that they will place their trust in God for everyday finances as well as with support-raising. In this chaotic time for their family, pray for wisdom in what they commit to. Pray too for mutual encouragement as they host Brazilian friends who will soon return to South East Asia.
Jono and Marie (Restricted Access, DPG Day 24)
Praise God that Jono has been offered a 6 month visa with a new project looking at opportunities to start working in education. Pray that this will result in a long term visa for Jono and thank God that they do not need to move.
Simon and Ann (Restricted Access, DPG Day 25)
It has been a month since they returned. Thank God for old and new friendships, for Simon back teaching and loving it, and for Ann’s role in children’s ministry. Pray too for family back in New Zealand.
Mark and Pil Soon Jennings (Worldview College, Launceston)
Please pray for their daughter Johanna who has been in a lot of pain for some time. Pathology tests and ultrasound are ‘clear’ but the pain persists. Pray for her healing – and that Johanna will be well enough to enjoy her school leadership board camp this week.

Wynnum Missionary Rally will be held on 23 February. Allan Moss, Paul Strahan, David Chapman, Corey and Amber Tobias, Les Loader and Wendy Strachan will address the theme: Reaching Beyond Borders.
