Belinda and Herman Lamprecht (South Africa, DPG Day 2)
Pray for Herman as he prepares online resources for the upcoming ‘Love Africa’ conference (8-9 August). The teaching sessions will be broadcast across a variety of media, in different countries: Namibia and Madagascar are looking to play the pre-recorded messages over the radio; Malawi will be distributing them to people on SD cards; Zambia is hosting small, in-person ‘watch parties’ in churches, as well as screening some sessions on local television; in Tanzania and villages around Lake Tanganyika, teams will use the conference themes and model, but translate the resources into local languages to be shared in community churches. Praise God that Hosanna has her birth certificate and Belinda has her ID number certificate.

Fiona Thomas (Cambodia, DPG Day 7)
Pray for Fiona to continue to wait patiently for when she can return to Australia and for what the Lord has in store next in her life. Mang, a former leader in the church she attends in Siem Reap, passed away from COVID-19. Pray for his widow Mercy and their children Hanna and Daniel.

Elizabeth Pfeifer (Philippines, DPG Day 10)
Pray for Liz as she balances Asia work tasks (done remotely) and raising support for returning to Asia, which involves moving to a new location. Pray for her to stay safe during Melbourne lockdown.

Bill and Sandra Callister (PNG, DPG Day 16)
Pray for the change of plan: because PNG has recently declared another State of Emergency, with cases of COVID increasing in the capital of Port Moresby, and because of the uncertainty of boat travel at this time, the three Saisai translators who were planning to travel to the town of Alotau (where there is good internet connection) have decided it is better to stay put on their island.  Bill will try to talk with them by phone from Australia to finalise changes to the books, which were recently checked by a translation consultant, and also to work on the second draft of John. He will have to get phone credit of 25 minutes at a time, and the translators will need to be at a village on their island where there is sometimes a reasonable phone signal. Pray for all of these uncertainties to work out, from next Monday.

John and Remy Tan (VIC, DPG Day 17)
Pray for Remy as she takes on a new task in Finance. Pray for Janelle’s spiritual growth with her peers, especially during increased COVID-19 restrictions.

David and Elly Sharp (Specialists, DPG Day 21)
David helped iron out synchronisation issues with the smartphone app for the Gergiko NT, and it’s now ready for release. Pray for the impact of the spoken Word on all users of the phone apps. Pray for David and Elly as they work from the Wycliffe office during lockdown. Pray for their safety and that of the other staff during this second wave.

Ross Brown (MAC-NSW, DPG Day 30)
Pray for Ross who has lung cancer. He had a PET scan on Monday to check for spread. Pray for his medical team as they work out a management plan. Ross is in good spirits — pray that he will continue to stay strong in the Lord.
