Pray for Andres and Karen as they have separated. Praise God that Johnnie and Julietta are staying together. Praise God that believers are starting to meet together again in Neiva and Buga. Pray that a few disruptive believers in Bugalagrande will stop complaining. Pray that John Jairo, who was previously hurt by another church, will continue to meet for fellowship with Byron. Pray for John’s wife to also maintain her faith.
Paul and Daphne Chapman (Venezuela, DPG Day 6)
It’s over 2 years since Paul and Daphne returned to Australia, and it looks like they won’t return to Venezuela anytime soon. Pray for them with regards to their future service. Praise God the Venezuelan believers have finally been allowed to bring in and distribute medicines in Venezuela via the Mercy and Truth Foundation. Daphne’s ankle and Paul’s collarbone are gradually healing; pray for full restoration of function.
Stephen and Lorraine Cavill (QLD, DPG Day 7)
Pray for Stephen and Lorraine to be able to cross borders soon as they travelled from Longreach to Victoria by car in June from their grandchild’s birth, but they are now locked down.

Pray for David as he waits for the decision re probation — pray there won’t be any. Pray that the family of Daeng won’t sue for damages, that the insurance will be enough. David and Tina are currently working as caretakers at The Pines, OMF Thailand’s beach holiday home. Pray that tourism will pick up again post-COVID. Pray for Thai people to turn to Jesus during these worrying times. Pray for new managers for The Pines and for reliable staff who work well together as a team. Pray for the OMF missionary family in Thailand to continue to adapt and find creative ways to do their ministry while in lockdown.
Robert and Katie Hovenden (PNG, DPG Day 18)
Praise God they only had 7 instead of 21 days of quarantine, and they have safely reached Wewak. Pray for Rob as he starts his maintenance work, and for Katie as she home-schools the older kids. Pray for them as they learn the language and build relationships with the national staff and neighbours, so they can become more involved in ministry.
Kevin and Eloise Dyer (Specialists, DPG Day 21)
Eloise is back home now. Pray for Kevin and the family as they prepare for how best to care for Eloise at home. She is on the hospice’s critical care list. Although less agitated and confused, she isn’t eating or drinking, and is heavily sedated.
Simon and Ann (Restricted Access, DPG Day 30)
Pray for Ann to have her second eye surgery soon, as it was postponed due to lockdown. She can’t drive, and daily tasks are difficult with her compromised vision. Pray for Simon as he continues to work on lessons and translation.
Carol Luttah (CBMPNG)
Praise God that Lynn arrived this morning in Port Moresby from Singapore. Pray for Carol’s cough to settle down. Praise God for sustaining the CBM ministry despite low sales.
