Byron and Lyn Johannesen (Colombia, DPG Day 4)
Praise God that Byron has been able to renovate the house (for sale) and the church hall. Praise God for the Zoom meetings. Pray for protection during the pandemic, which hasn’t peaked yet in Colombia. Pray for Olmedo who is still recovering slowly from COVID-19. Pray for other believers or their relatives who are recovering from COVID-19. Pray for Byron’s sore toe to get good treatment. Pray for Julieta, who has a blood clotting disorder, to get the treatment she needs, and for her husband Jhonny and their children. Pray for Alissa as she recovers from yesterday’s surgery.

David and Robin Ware (Cambodia, DPG Day 7)
Praise God David made it safely back to Australia.

Tim and Anna Southcott (Timor-Leste, DPG Day 11)
Praise God that Tim made it safely back home and earlier than expected. Pray for wisdom as Tim and Anna decide what to do next and whether to bring their furlough forward. Pray that they can have a time to refresh and reconnect.

Gavin and Janet Petersen (Portugal, DPG Day 14)
Pray for safety and spiritual refreshment at the Christian Workers Conference in France at the end of August.

Jon and Janet Mitchell (PNG, DPG Day 17)
Pray that Jon will be alright after standing on nails. Jon and Janet left their village and are now in Kavieng—pray for them as they fly out of PNG on Friday.

Leigh and Tamara (Restricted Access, DPG Day 24)
Praise God for a great team to work with through COVID-19-related matters in recent months. Praise for the young guys in their weekly study. Praise God for the monsoon cutting short the locust plagues. Pray for the organisation’s staff as they respond to landslides and floods. Praise God for a Speech Therapist to help Cole—he’s easier to understand. Pray for Cole’s passport to be processed soon. Pray for technical issues at home to settle so that home schooling will be easier for Tamara. Pray for Leigh to have good rapport and a positive working relationship with a new ‘boss’.

Tess (Restricted Access, DPG Day 24)
Praise God that Tess is making progress in language learning; pray for her as she learns spiritual language. Pray for Tess as she decides where to go and what ministry she should focus on after language learning.

Simon and Ann (Restricted Access, DPG Day 25)
Praise God that Simon could teach principles of Bible Translation via Zoom and he’ll be back in the classroom next week. Pray that Simon and Ann can get flights for a short home assignment in September.

C & A (Restricted Access, DPG Day 25)
Pray for the Hospital Interim Director who is recovering from minor injuries after a motorbike accident. Praise God for A’s opportunity to visit lepers in surrounding villages. Praise God for good rain for crops; pray that flood-damaged mud brick homes will be repaired soon. Pray for C as he builds an isolation hanger for people with contagious diseases. Praise God for ongoing language learning with a new helper. Praise God for contacts who commit to the Word; pray for their effective discipleship.

Bronwen Cruickshank (AMT, DPG Day 29)
Pray for Bronwen who has constant nausea and has been readmitted to hospital for ongoing investigation of her low blood sodium. Pray for wisdom for her medical team to reach a definitive diagnosis and provide the most appropriate treatment.

Pray for Rob and Denise Ottosson who plan to return to Africa in 2022—to another nation and in a different capacity to what they were doing in Burkina Faso. Pray for wisdom in decision-making.
